Redistricting
The City of Lynchburg must engage in a redistricting process during 2022, as mandated by federal law. Redistricting is the process of redrawing the boundaries of districts that elect representatives who serve specific geographic areas. Redistricting occurs every 10 years following the United States decennial census and is the responsibility of state and local governments.
