Parking Enforcement to Resume in Areas of the Main St. Renewal Project
Beginning Monday, February 1, parking enforcement will resume at the following locations within the Main Street Renewal Project area:
• 800 block of Main Street (between Eighth and Ninth Streets)
• 10th Street (between Main and Church Streets)
At the beginning of the project, on-street parking was eliminated to allow contractors to install utility and streetscape amenities. As the construction nears completion in certain areas and these blocks open to normal traffic, parking enforcement operations will resume as they were prior to the project’s beginning.
Free two-hour parking is still available on the top level of the Midtown Parking Deck (entrance is in the 900 block of Main Street). Motorists are reminded to register their space number at the kiosk to receive the free two-hour parking.
Completion of the Main Street Renewal Project is scheduled for summer 2021. For more information, visit the project website.
