Interviews for the Clerk of Council position, originally scheduled for Tuesday, October 13 at 2:30 p.m. in Council Chamber, City Hall, 900 Church Street, have been rescheduled.
On Tuesday, October 27 at 2:30 p.m., Lynchburg City Council will meet in Council Chamber, City Hall, 900 Church Street to go into closed session to interview candidates for the position of Clerk of Council.
At the conclusion of the closed session, City Council will reconvene its regular Work Session at 4:00 p.m., followed by its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m.
Both the 4:00 p.m. and the 7:30 p.m. meetings will be open to the public and will be broadcast live on Comcast Channel 15, here on the City’s website, and on the City’s Facebook page.
PLEASE NOTE: A limited number of citizens will be allowed in the Council Chamber due to COVID-19 precautions. Anyone in the Chamber will be asked to practice social distancing and to sit in designated spaces. Those experiencing any flu-like symptoms or who have been exposed to anyone with flu-like symptoms of COVID-19 are asked not to attend the meetings.
