    City Council to Conduct Special Meeting Today, June 18

    Today, Thursday, June 18, at 12:00 p.m., Lynchburg City Council will conduct a special meeting to discuss the declaration of tomorrow, June 19, as a local Juneteenth holiday.  The meeting will be held in the Council Chamber, City Hall, 900 Church Street.
    PLEASE NOTE: A limited number of citizens will be allowed in the Council Chamber due to COVID-19 precautions. Anyone in the Chamber will be asked to practice social distancing and to sit in designated spaces.
