PUBLIC HEARINGS

The City of Lynchburg is a recipient of the HOME Investment Partnerships Program American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) funds administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These supplemental funds must be used to perform activities that primarily benefit qualifying individuals and families that are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or in other vulnerable populations. The City's HOME-ARP Draft Allocation Plan ("Draft Plan") will be posted here when it is available for public review and comment. Please check back soon for updates.

***PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: The public hearing regarding the HOME-ARP Allocation Plan previously scheduled for December 13, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. has since been postponed to an undetermined date. The Office of Grants Administration will keep the public informed when the public hearing is rescheduled and a public notice will be published in The News & Advance. The City of Lynchburg reports annually to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on program and project accomplishments funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) entitlement grant programs through the Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER).
