Fire Station 7 History
Following the annexation of the Old Forest Road area of Campbell County in 1976, the City of Lynchburg had to provide fire protection to this area of the city. In 1980 the Lynchburg Fire Department opened Station 7 at 2624 Lakeside Drive. Originally intended to house Engine 7, Station 7 is also the home of Engine 7, Medic 7, Truck 2, Battalion 2, the brush truck, and the Haz-Mat Trailer.
