Sec. 7-101. Destruction, isolation of bitten animals.
Animals bitten by a known rabid animal shall be immediately destroyed, or if the owner is unwilling to destroy the exposed animal, strict isolation of the animal in a kennel, designated by the director of health, at the expense of the owner, for six (6) months shall be enforced. If the animal has been previously vaccinated, it shall be revaccinated immediately following the bite and shall be confined to the premises of the owner, or other site as may be approved by the health department for a period of forty-five (45) days.
