Sec. 35-57. Denial of permit.
If the city engineer shall not approve for any reason the proposed work for which a permit is required under the provisions of this article (for example, because of location, materials used, construction practices, etc.), he shall return the application and deposit to the applicant. If the applicant is aggrieved by the action of the city engineer, he may appeal the same to the public works director. The decision of the public works director shall be final.
