Sec. 26-51. Declaration of findings and policy.
The city council hereby finds and declares that at certain levels, noise can be detrimental to the health, welfare, safety and quality of life of the inhabitants of the city, and it is in the public interest that noise should be restricted. It is, therefore, the policy of the city to reduce noise in the community and to prohibit unnecessary, excessive and annoying noises from all sources subject to its police power. (Ord.
