Sec. 16.2-22. Regional stormwater management.
Where possible all subdivisions, especially those for commercial and industrial use, shall employ a regional detention facility for all lots within the development. If regional detention is not a viable option, as determined by the plan approving authority, a combination of non-structural, structural practices and/or on-site detention shall be designed to reduce the runoff peak on a lot-by-lot basis. If a regional stormwater management plan has been adopted by the City of Lynchburg for the watershed in which the proposed land development is located, the applicant shall comply with the requirements of the regional watershed plan.
