    What Do We Believe?

    • People care – they want to make things better
    • It takes people from all parts of our community to solve problems
    • When we talk face-to-face, we get to know each other and build trusting  relationships

What Are We Doing (with your Help)?

    • Bringing small, diverse groups of people together to meet 3 times to think, talk, learn and work together to address public problems in Lynchburg such as poverty
      • Inviting people to share how poverty has touched their lives
      • Asking people why they believe poverty exists
      • Working on ideas for further action

     What Are We Asking?

    • Help us recruit participants and facilitators
    • Provide a meeting spot
    • Support the meetings: refreshments, child care, transportation, etc
