A great place to live, work and play.

On Wednesday, September 19 and Thursday, September 20 a portion of Memorial Avenue (between 2509  and 2517 Memorial Avenue) will be reduced to one lane in order to accommodate new water pipe installation. Flaggers will be staged in the work zone from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on both days; after 4:00 p.m., both lanes will reopen.  Motorists should use caution while driving through the work zone.

For more information, contact Jason Ingram, Public Works Dept. at (434) 455-4448.

Due to the inclement weather, the Timberlake Road exit ramp (Exit 10-B) closure, originally planned for September 16-18, has been rescheduled.  The ramp will now be closed on Tuesday, September 18 at approximately 11:00 p.m. and will reopen on Thursday, September 20 at 6:00 a.m.

The ramp will be closed to accommodate the paving of the roundabout at Logans Lane.

Detours will be posted and message boards will be used to alert motorists.
