Tiny Book Show Returns to Lynchburg Public Library (Aug. 1)
The Lynchburg Public Library, 2315 Memorial Avenue, is pleased to announce the return of The Tiny Book Show on Tuesday, August 1 at 4:00 p.m. This exhibition of miniature books is curated by Amy Tingle and Maya Stein of The Creativity Caravan, an arts and education organization headquartered in Montclair, New Jersey.
As part of the exhibit stop, Tingle and Stein will offer a unique, hands-on book making workshop beginning at 4:00 p.m. Guests of all ages are invited to attend. Both the exhibit and workshop will take place in the Community Meeting Room and is free and open to the public.
The Tiny Book Show features a wide variety of handmade books, each measuring no more than three inches in dimension, created by artists and writers of all ages from all over the world. This exhibit is part of The Creativity Caravan’s program of offerings, including art workshops, online classes, school programs, and special events focusing on creativity, collaboration, and community.
