Crews from the City of Lynchburg’s Public Works Department are continuing the cleanup from the storm that occurred on Sunday, July 21. As a result of the additional brush and debris being brought to the curb from the storm, normal bulk and brush collection may be delayed.
Citizens and landscaper/tree removal contractors are reminded that contractors are not permitted to place brush or wood debris at the curb for pickup by the City. Contractors must dispose of all brush and wood debris at an appropriate site such as the Central Virginia Services Authority landfill located at 361 Livestock Road in Campbell County.
The City appreciates your patience and cooperation.
