Crane Work Scheduled for Main Street Renewal Project (Nov. 12)
On Tuesday, November 12, one day only, Appalachian Power will have a crane delivered in the 900 block of Main Street for use with the installation of two manholes as part of the Main Street Renewal Project. This work will reroute traffic and require motorists to enter the top of the Mid-Town Parking Deck via two-way traffic in the 900 Block of Main Street from Ninth Street for the length of time it will take crews to complete the work. Flaggers will be stationed at Ninth and Tenth Streets to direct motorists.
Motorists are asked to please obey all traffic signage and drive slowly as crews will be working in the street.
The City of Lynchburg continues to offer free two-hour parking for customers on the top floor of the Midtown Parking Deck. Check in at the pay station at Midtown or on the Passport phone app for details.
