Book Talk with Bobbye Terry
On the afternoon of July 31, at 2:00 pm, in the Community Meeting Room of the Lynchburg Public Library, author Bobbye Terry will talk about her latest work, The Widow James.
The Widow James is set in Lynchburg and follows the investigation of a murder charge against Elsie, an elderly woman with a large estate that others are all too interested in controlling. Enter Lindsay "Lindy" Deanne James, a forensic psychologist who has recently moved back to Lynchburg after a prolonged absence. Lindy finds that many of the city's prominent residents would benefit if Elsie were out of the way, but would any of them resort to murder? And is Carter, Lindy’s first love and Elsie’s nephew really only after his aunt’s best interest? Does he still love Lindy? Or is he plotting with his ex-wife, Carrie, to gain control of Elsie’s property?
