Sec. 13-34. Parking when market is in operation.
(a) Parking in the city market area during the time the city market is in full operation as a market by any person other than bona fide purchasers and sellers or intending purchasers or sellers who remain in the market during the time their respective vehicles are parked therein is prohibited. Parking by such bona fide purchasers and sellers or intending purchasers or sellers during the time when the market is in full operation as a market shall be in designated parking spaces only and shall be limited to such period of time, not exceeding one hour, as may be fixed by the city manager. This provision shall not apply to sellers who have rented stalls in the market and who park their vehicles in the stalls rented by them.
(b) During such times as the city market is in full operation as a market, the parking meters installed in the market area shall be hooded and not used and parking during such times in the market area shall be in accordance with the provisions of paragraph (a). (Code 1959, § 8-22)
