Sec. 5-27. Termination of service; bond.
At least ninety (90) days written notice to the city manager or his designee shall be required for a certificate holder to voluntarily cease operating or rendering of ambulance services in the city. In order to assure compliance with said requirement, each certificate holder shall prior to the issuance of a certificate to him be required to post bond in the amount of five hundred dollars ($500.00), with proper surety to be approved by the city attorney, which amount shall be forfeited to the city for failure to comply with said notice requirements.
