
Flu shots for H1N1 (swine flu) are available. Check here for locations in the Lynchburg area and for availability. Be sure to call the location first to determine if the vacinations are still in stock.
These people with high risks for complications from flu as designated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are encouraged to get the vacination. These include:
- Pregnant women
- People living with or caring for infants younger than 6 months
- Health care workers
- People 25 through 64 years old with chronic medical conditions, such as asthma, heart disease or diabetes, and
- Anyone age 6 months to 24 years old
