Lynchburg Expressway Construction Update
The milling and paving work along the Lynchburg Expressway has been completed at this time. However, the southbound lane of the expressway will continue to be reduced to a single lane between the City limits and the Grace Street area to accommodate the replacement of the Grace Street retaining wall. This lane restriction is projected to be in place for approximately two months. Motorists are encouraged to slow down through the work zone and use alternative routes during peak hours.
