NEW!!
No need to call to schedule your pickup UNLESS you have FREON containing appliances. Just put your bulky items on the curb on the day of your trash collection (but keep separate from trash). Refuse collectors will pickup small bulky items when they pick up your trash or in case of a large pile, they'll contact the knuckleboom operator to pick up the items at a later time (usually within a day or two but definitely within a weeks time).
Please review these set-out guidelines first!
Call the Citizens First Info Center at 856-CITY (2489) or complete the online form if you have FREON containing applicances (i.e.: refrigerator, freezer, air conditioner, etc.) Enter your request directly into the Customer Service system! to request a pickup. Please plan ahead and schedule your pickup as much as two weeks in advance. (NOTE: If using our on-line system, we will email you the date and time of your pick-up).
Once you request the pickup, you'll need to place the FREON containing items on the curb in front of your residence the day before your scheduled pickup.

NOTE: Contractors hired by private citizens are always responsible for the disposal of brush, limbs, branches and other yard debris cut by the contractor. In addition, remodeling and demolition debris must be delivered by the contractor/citizen to the landfill for proper disposal. This type of waste is not accepted at the curb. |
